Art Thursday - Rob Flowers at The Drawers Gallery

Opening tonight Rob Flowers presents us with a collection of recent curiosities - images and memorabilia from our childhood are mixed in with artworks from the Flowers archive. What I’ve seen thus far is reminiscent of a dream gone wrong, dark characters subvert from familiar fairytale - visuals that have inspired a whole host of video projection artists. Timothy Stevens has taken time out from filming War Horse to collaborate, providing surprise illusions of an optical nature.
